Still waiting on an order I placed and paid for on the 19th March which myself & others are being fobbed off on delivery timescales and seemingly no idea of when you are getting this product in. It is now almost a full week on from your stock estimate as per your below note and still no update from you. Your lack of customer service is frustrating and quite frankly embarrassing. When are going to deliver these products or at least give a reason why the long wait. Even some basic comms what be welcome. I cannot recommend you to anyone looking to purchase any rare metals or coins due to this farce.

We went to the Royal Mint for a tour, stamping a coin and a lunch. It was amazing value for the price. The tour was conducted by Tom, he was interesting and informed, no question was too silly and he knew how to respond well.
The gift shop was ok but we wanted to buy a gold bullion and we needed to do that online - that said I brought their Gin and it was very lovely.
The best thing for us was actually the restaurant we had £25 to spend as part of the ticket price and we got a soft drink, cup of tea, pie and chips with a slice of cake - BARGIN and it tasted really good.

My last purchase was a bit of an issue as I could not get it done on-line due to a glitch and I had to call, and it took two customer service people to figure it out and I got what I wanted. I unfortunately did not realize I could not call long distance with my new cell, and it cost me over 200.00 dollars just for the call. Glad I got the item, however. Live and learn. Company is great and highly recommend them. I loved talking to the people there regardless of the surprise when I got the bill....

I've bought several products from the Royal Mint and the process is usually quick and trouble free. This time the item I received had some defects, so I returned it. The return process was easy and convenient... then wait a couple of weeks... then a replacement arrived that was as expected. The end result is I got my item and I'm a happy customer. Unreliable Delivery and Utter Lack of Customer Service – A Deeply Disappointing Experience
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience ordering from this retailer. I placed an order well before the stated cut-off time and selected Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm, a premium service that explicitly promises guaranteed next working day delivery.
1. Delivery Promise Not Fulfilled
Despite adhering to all timelines and paying for the fastest delivery option, the item failed to arrive on the promised date. This was not a casual purchase—it was intended as a birthday gift to be given on a specific day. The missed delivery completely defeated its purpose and left me scrambling with no alternative.
2. No Communication Whatsoever
What makes this experience significantly worse is the complete silence from the company. I contacted customer service with a formal complaint, clearly explaining the urgency and asking for compensation. Days have passed, and I have yet to receive any response—not even an automated acknowledgement. I followed up again and was met with the same radio silence. This is appalling for a brand that claims to offer quality and premium service.
3. Misleading Shipping Policies
If next day delivery cannot be reliably fulfilled, it should not be advertised. The item in question was not personalised and should have easily been despatched within the promised timeframe. Instead, there was no update, no tracking, no explanation—just a complete absence of accountability.
4. Summary
This experience has been wholly unacceptable from start to finish. A failed delivery is one thing, but a total lack of response is indefensible. This company has not only let me down but has shown zero regard for its customers. I had previously admired their product range, but after this, I won’t be shopping here again—and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to others.
If you value timely service, clear communication, or even a basic standard of customer care, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Great service, great product!
Even when ordering from outside the UK, there were no problems at all. Buying online without any problem step-by-step I was led through the ordering process. Payment process also without any problem. The delivery was fast and packed well on the date announced. I'm pleased to find that the shipping fee to the EU is quite affordable, but I regret not knowing about the gold version of the coin sooner, as it had been sold out for quite some time.

I sent an email on 4th November 2024 and got a reply on 28th December stating they are currently experiencing delays answering emails. Ha!
Unacceptable delay.
Also, today which has seen gold reach the highest price in history and a huge jump in price today alone,The Royal Mint decided to close the website to undertake maintenance meaning digital gold could not be traded! Incredible timing.
It also takes a phenomenal amount of time for funds to clear once you’ve sold digital gold. It then takes an age to transfer your money into your nominated account. I find this is done purely so that The Royal Mint can have your money longer. Digital banking should never take this long. If I want to transfer money to The Royal Mint, it’s instant. It’s funny that isn’t it?!
To put things into perspective, if you want to sell gold, it will take two weeks for you to get your money. That’s just incredible to me.
Oh just to add, when you’re buying physical gold from The Royal Mint, it’s even slower. It can take months. I don’t know what sort of business they think they’re running but they fall short in many areas. I hope you get my feedback and try to improve.
